Expedition Itinerary

Day 1

Your expedition to the wonderful Kalahari starts after a short introduction with your expedition vehicles. The journey today heads towards the small town of Kuruman where you will overnight.

Day 2

The expedition makes way to the McCarthy's rest border post between South African and Botswana. You continue in the 'Kalahari Highway' (A multi lane sand track). Once on the outskirts of the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park you follow the cut-line up to the Mabua Gate where you enter the park. Tonight you camp in the Mabuasehube wilderness.

Day 3

Your Safari holiday truly comes alive as you explore the Kalahari for the elusive Black maned Kalahari lion, herds of Africa's largest Antelope the Eland, as well as all the little things that make the Kalahari grand.

Day 4

Venture and explore the Dunes of the Kalahari on route to Bosobogolo pan. Camping around Bosobogolo pan will create the perfect exclusive Africa atmosphere around the bon fire as you heed the distinct chuckles of spotted hyena and the roar of the Kalahari lions.

Day 5

The expedition treks from Mabuasehube across the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park to Pulentswa camp. You traverse through beautiful Thorny Kalahari Dune Bushveld vegetation and negotiating the spectacular red dunes of the Kalahari.

Day 6

Find yourself experiencing life at a true soporific African tempo. Savoring an afternoon siesta and exploring at your own pace. After sunset the Kalahari comes alive with the chanting black-backed jackal, roaring lions and chuckling hyenas.

Day 7

Today your expedition will trek south along Nossob River to Rooiputs campsite very near Twee Rivieren. The Kalahari sky fills the sky with a multitude of 'shooting stars' as your evening passes by.

Day 8
