Wild Dogs Expedition: Day 1

The Expedition begins at the Total garage in Alldays 13:00 sharp. Here we do introductions, install the 2-way radios full the vehicles and head off into the bush. Once we arrive at Venitia Limpopo Nature reserve, we make our way to the “Little Muck” lodge, our home for the next two evenings. We will spend the afternoon relaxing around the pool, or enjoying the tranquillity of the nearby bird hide. A short introduction into the Wild Dog project will be presented after dinner. An early night is recommended as we have an early start the next morning

Wild Dogs Expedition: Day 2

The next day we go out in search of the famed wild dogs also known as ‘the painted dogs’, one of Africa’s most endangered large predators. After a morning filled with excitement, and interesting facts about the Wild Dogs we return to “Little Muck” for brunch and a lazy afternoon. Late afternoon we move off to the Mapungubwe National Park and the confluence of the Limpopo and the Shashe Rivers, the stage is set for a beautiful backdrop with a refreshing sundowner.

Wild Dogs Expedition: Day 3

We start the morning off with a short 4x4 drive through the reserve, or a visit to the world heritage site of Mapungubwe (ZAR 100-00 per person, not included), before returning to yet another sumptuous brunch. At around 11:00 we reluctantly start hitting the road back towards the “big smoke” of Gauteng
